Ouch. We’re still recovering from that monster weekend that was Easter ’08 – a sad farewell to Turnmills capping off an immense 4-day session. We’re just about coming out of our haze and are ready for another weekend of top live music and club action! Hmm maybe I spoke too soon…the bouts of dizziness seem to be returning….ugh….

We spoke with Soul Jazz Records about the history of MCing in the UK, talked party techno with new talent Bootek, served up reviews of Bloc Weekend, Chibuku’s 8th Birthday and of riotous French electropunks Kap Bambino’s London gig, and dished out news and reviews on Chew The Fat!, Ferry Corsten, N*E*R*D, Portishead, Meat Beat Manifesto, Irvine Welsh, Stag & Dagger, Umek, Elite Force, Shonky, Lutzenkirchen, Hook ‘n’ Sling, Oliver Huntemann and more….
