Weekly Transmission 015!

SCORCHIO!

At last! It’s officially summer! Although we’re sure to have a barrage of shite weather before we hit the sweet spot of the sunniest season, it sure feels good to be feeling the sunshine and seeing those blue skies again. The Bank Holiday Weekend was a perfect introduction – outdoor stomping at secretsundaze’s magnificent opening party, and much drinking on sofas in gardens. Hope yours was just as fun....

We’ve got so much good shit on the site this week! Felix Da Housecat filled us in on his new mix CD for Global Underground and told us about his next albums (plural!), D. Ramirez brought us up to speed with what he’s been doing this year, we talked to the guys at Watergate Berlin, one of the coolest clubs in the world, to find out about the story behind the club’s success, took a trip round San Francisco with Mark Farina, and got the lowdown on hot new stars like dubstep merchant Cotti and minimal madman Tim Green (TG). All this plus news & reviews on everyone from Richie Hawtin to Elite Force to Beck to The Bug to Carl Craig to Herbaliser to Mark Ronson.

....and remember, DT is updated THROUGHOUT THE DAY with hot-off-the-press news. It’s not just a once-a-week thang!

Finally we thought we should use our newsletter for a really good cause. You will have no doubt heard about the horrific cyclone disaster in Burma over the weekend. The death toll may reach over 100,000, and it’s estimated that over 1 million Burmese are injured or homeless as a result of the disaster. We’re encouraging you to visit www.dec.org.uk and donate just £4 – if all our subscribers do this we could help raise over £1 million to help these incredibly unfortunate people. £4 is really not much for us – but if we all pitch in it could really help make a difference.

Cheers and enjoy DT – and the sunshine!

DT xx
