Weekly Transmission 27!

Word,

This week we've got an immensely sexy, chunky funky monkey tribal tech house mix from Portuguese badman Mastiksoul in our Podcast section. It's quite simply delicious! Juicy carnival house music, or something like that, with some big room techno towards the end. He's a sick producer, and we're very excited to have a mix from him!

DT-TV took in the sights and sounds of Lovebox Weekender this week (including a fruit fight, abusive drag queens and forest raving), gave you the lowdown on Justice's gig at the gorgeous Somerset House, caught up with prog-house legends Futureshock about their latest ventures, got inside the mind of DnB filth merchant Hazard, and got the full story on what this Beachbombing thing in Ibiza's all about. Folk-meets-electro artist James Yuill fell under the New Talent spotlight, and there's news and reviews on Tiesto, Layo & Bushwacka!, Dizzee Rascal, Modular, Mark Ronson, King Unique, Chemical Brothers, Jadakiss, Oceanlab, Prins Thomas, Skream, Christian Smith and loads more!

Plus there's more chances to win tickets to Surfs Up, Get Loaded In The Park and South West Four, goodies from Meganite and Coca Cola, access-all-areas passes for Hard House Academy, and tickets for Tiesto's O2 show next week + DVDs!

So go on, switch off Facebook, get a cup of tea, and get busy on the latest Transmission...

Combine the vocal melodies and guitar sounds of wistful and melancholy bands like Grand National and with the taut sound of the electro nu-wave, and what have you got?
