Weekly Transmission 29!

Yes Yes Y'all,

Hope you're all doing well...not to rub it in but we're lounging at Sziget Festival in Hungary in 34 degree heat...but we still know where our priorities lie!

This week's podcasts comes from Ninja Tune's drum 'n' bass stalwarts The Qemists, delivering a rip tide of filthy bass currents – not for the faint-hearted! Brock out time basically.

This week we've been tackling some of the less usual topics in dance music. First off we took a rather cynical (but realistic) look at self-styled 'eco club' Bar Surya in London, spoke to Danny Rampling and the guys at Subbass DJ Academy for some tips for aspiring DJs and producers out there, took you on a virtual tour of the magnificent Big Chill Festival and also some small affair known only as the Global Gathering. Oh, and Glimpse snuck his head into our New Talent section with his deep, lush, melodic techno stylings.

News and reviews? But of course! How are Evil Nine, Shimon and Nixon, Mason, Metronomy, Tiesto, Simmonds and Jones, BK, X-Press2, DC10, matter, Pacha, Neon Neon, Eric Prydz and Grooverider for starters? Yes, we thought so.

And of course there's loads of prizes to win including over 100 CDs, season passes to The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and tickets for Slinky, Parklife and Gatecrasher!

And the FINAL Chance to WIN TICKETS TO Get Loaded In The Park & South West Four!!

Now excuse us if you will, Alanis Morrisette is starting soon...ha ha...

Glimpse

Is it deep house? Is it proggy techno? Does it really matter? No. It's dead good though, and it's usually rather lush.
