Weekly Transmission 34!

Ciao DT, que tal?

Hello all. We write to you from the wet, windy climbs of The White Isle. That's right - we're in Ibiza for Beachbombing and the shitting British weather has followed us over her. Bastard!

This week we've got a weird and wonderful podcast from none other than the legend that is David Holmes. It's not often you get the chance to hear a bespoke mix from someone who's scored and soundtrack great flicks like Out Of Sight and Ocean's Eleven. In keeping with his filmic ties, David's mix for us mashes up bizarre electronica, little-known soundtracks and loads more...don't listen if you're feeling fragile!

We've also been speaking with another legend of dance music, Todd Edwards - the garage deity whose sound led on to speed garage, and therefore 2-step, grime, dubstep and other garage variants, and who has been a major influence for the likes of Daft Punk - and asked 25 of the world's biggest DJs and producers who their Dream Collaboration would be with. UK hip-hop pioneer Million Dan gave us some chat too, along with minimal maverick Mark Henning and Australian electro-rockers The Presets and a New Talent feature with Drums of Death. Throw in news and reviews on everyone from Lily Allen, Digitalism, Cream, Dizzee Rascal, Hed Kandi, Zombies ate my Brain, Annie Mac, Drum and Bass Arena, Fabio Stein, Christian Burkhardt, Central Core, AMB and Hyper and clearly, we're obese with unmissable dance music banter. Unmissable I tells ya!

There's the Final Chance to WIN 2 SEASON PASSES TO THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT! That's right you get to go to every event for free! Also Circus, Plug and Stephan Bodzin goodies and a 1 Day Tutorial from DJ Academy!
