Weekly Transmission 39!

Hoi! Hoe gaat het?

Yes, if you hadn't already guessed we're writing to you from the Amsterdam Dance Event, the world's biggest dance music industry conference and club festival! We've come to spread the word about the good ship Data Transmission to our foreign contemporaries, and perhaps sample a few pannekoeken on the way.

As per usual though we've still got your weekly dose of dancey goodness. The marvellous John Dahlbäck has provided this week's podcast, showcasing his prodigious production and mixing skills that blend phat electro house with groovy, juicy techno. Peak-time bizness! We got brought up to speed by trance bod John Askew and London electro band Devil's Gun about their respective new projects, put the North American techno renaissance under the microscope, plus checked out Bacardi's latest B-Live mash-up in Birmingham, and D&B MC Lowqui's farewell party in London. We also popped over to Wales to get Dead Residents spouting some New Talent type verbals.

We've got new competitions to win tickets and goodies from Shivoo, Chew The Fat! and Need2Soul, more chances to win a night with Justice and loads of CDs from Fierce Angel and 100% Dynamite, News and Reviews on Jurassic 5, D. Ramirez, Urban Gorilla, Dave Spoon, Radioclit, Marcel Woods, The Whip, Moguai, Above & Beyond, Gus Gus, FWD>, Distance, The Bug and loads more, and newly added DT-TV videos from the likes of Underworld, Aphex Twin, Le Le, Wu-Tang Clan, The Whitest Boy Alive and Moby!

AND DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE DJS (n.b. from anywhere in the world) IN OUR UK TOP 40 DJ POLL! JUST A FEW DAYS LEFT! WIN £1000s OF PRIZES! - CLICK HERE TO VOTE
