Weekly Transmission 52!

We made it! How time flies when you're having fun. On February 1st 2008, we launched ourselves on an unsuspecting public - and since then we've brought you over 200 features, almost 2000 news items, over 600 music reviews, over 150 competitions, 34 podcasts, and a whole lot more!

We'd like to say a massive thank you to all of you lot who have read and supported the site over the year, to all our fantastic contributors, and to all the record labels, club promoters, PR and DJ agencies we work with. We couldn't have done it without all of you!

To celebrate this week we've got a very special, exclusive, world's first podcast from D&B dons Commix - their first ever house & techno set no less! We took a look back over our first year in action, spoke with Israeli talent Shlomi Aber and with trance's man-of-the-moment Activa, gave our thoughts on Defected's 10th Birthday and on the revolutionary new Datz Music Lounge download package, and checked out mental multi-instrumentalist Magic Arm in New Talent.

We've also got a special birthday present from those lovely people at DJDownload.com for all you lot - a free, 10-track birthday album featuring the likes of Dirt Crew, Oliver Giacomotto, Patch Park, Johan Vermulen and Santiago Deep! Just click www.djdownload.com/dt1 to get your copy!

And don't forget to come and help us celebrate at our first birthday party at Egg in London on Saturday 21st February with Mastiksoul. All DT members get in for £10! CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
